How it works

The workflow a private counselor would run — for everyone.

SAGE is built around a multi-agent system. Each agent has one narrow job and reads from your shared, structured profile before acting. You stay in control at every checkpoint.

  1. 1 · Build your profile

You complete a structured profile once: academics, activities, identity and eligibility factors, geography, recommenders, passion projects, and — most importantly — writing-voice samples. Every downstream agent reads this before producing anything. The more specific you are, the better everything that follows sounds.

  2. 2 · The scout searches

On a recurring cadence, SAGE searches for new opportunities matching your profile across national, regional, demographic, niche, and merit categories. Each candidate is scored on Fit, ROI, and Eligibility Certainty. Weak and ineligible matches are filtered out before you ever see them — anything requiring application fees or unverifiable sponsors is auto-rejected as a scam.

  3. 3 · You decide

You review the pipeline of scored opportunities and choose which to pursue. SAGE never auto-applies and never picks for you. It scores, recommends, and explains the risks — you commit.

  4. 4 · Deep research

When you promote a scholarship, SAGE produces a sourced research dossier: sponsor mission, judging criteria, eligibility checklist, prize structure, verified deadlines, application requirements, and the recurring vocabulary judges reward.

  5. 5 · Archive past winners

SAGE finds publicly published winning essays and extracts structural and thematic patterns — opening moves, structure, voice, length, what's notably absent — so you know what's actually winning, not what aggregators claim. It never reproduces copyrighted prose, and it's honest about sample size.

  6. 6 · Draft in your voice

For each prompt, SAGE produces multiple distinct drafts, each taking a different strategic angle, in your own voice. Drafts are starting points you react to — not finished essays. When a draft needs a real memory or fact, it flags it inline for you rather than inventing one.

  7. 7 · Track & submit

SAGE manages deadlines, surfaces what's due, flags missing inputs from you — a memory, a fact, a recommender confirmation — and assembles the final application package. You always hit submit.
